Visit Me in 'The Studio'

Want to know more about my work and how I do it? Check out "The Studio," a new feature on the Girl Scouts' Web site. Every week, The Studio features a different author of books for kids and/or young adults, and I'm up this week, January 16-22. (After that, you should be able to find all of my material in the archive.) I answer the five W's (who, what, when, where, and why) and one H (how) about my job as an author; tell you about my recent hunt for "buried treasure"; give you hints for examining photographs; and tell you about a writing contest for kids in grades 6, 7, and 8. You'll also find photos of me with some spirited Girl Scouts. So come on into The Studio.
