SLJ Day of Dialog

If you were lucky enough to register for School Library Journal's Day of Dialog, I hope you'll come to Panel III, Dynamic Nonfiction for Kids and Teens, from 2 to 3 p.m. I'll be joining authors Marc Aronson and Candace Fleming, Scholastic nonfiction editor Brenda Murray, and Junior Library Guild's Susan Marston for a spirited discussion on how nonfiction authors use research and writing to make true stories relevant and engaging for young readers. Day of Dialog will take place on June 4 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, one day before the start of BookExpo America 2012, but registration is closed and the event is now full. If you can't be there, check Sue's Views later that week for some of the highlights.
