On the Radio
March 21, 2011
I've done 19 radio interviews — and counting — in March In honor of Women's History Month and the publication of Wheels of Change. You can hear my interview with Shelley Irwin of WGVU in western Michigan right here and my interview with Josefa Salinas of KHHT-FM in Los Angeles right here. (The segment runs for the first 7 minutes, 49 seconds of the broadcast.)
Blogging for Women's History Month
March 25, 2011

In just a few days, I’ll be taking part in the inaugural Kidlit Celebrates Women’s History Month blogging event organized by bloggers Margo Tanenbaum, also known as The Fourth Musketeer, and Lisa Taylor, also known as Shelf-Employed. Each day this month, a different author, librarian, or bookseller who specializes in children’s literature has been blogging about a topic related to women’s history. If you've been following the project, you know that there's a great lineup of contributors, including Ann Bausum, Tonya Bolden, Candace Fleming, Kathleen Krull, and Tanya Lee Stone. My post will be up on March 28.
